How accurate is it ?
I've been monitoring my food intake over the last few days, trying to be exact as I can with quantities etc.
I was initially low on calories which I seem to have corrected and hitting all my macros but my iron intake is pretty much zero or single figures.
I'm not a vegaritian or anything and I eat a pretty varied diet.
Should I be concerned ?

IME It’s only as accurate as the person(s) who’ve made the entry into the data base.
You could manually input all your own stuff after researching nutritional info it would be time consuming but over time you’d create a data base you can trust more.
Personally I only use it for the cals.

I use it every day, as above its as accurate as you make it!
I weigh 90% of my food, I use the scan option for packaged foods!
When I eat out I guestimate always allowing for worst case scenario!
I think its a good app, its helped me maintain weight and finally stop fluctuating, Its helped 3 of my friends loose well over a stone now (6 months use).
I think its a good way to track macro nutrients.

Sweating over vitamins and minerals, let alone the macros, is not worth the effort.
You'd struggle to be iron deficient, many whole foods contain it and it's added to loads of (fortified) processed foods.

I'd really like to use MFP for tracking calorie intake, but find the whole entering foods a total ball ache on a mobile device. I tend to have different salads at lunch and a varied evening meal all made with different ingredients at home and just find it a nightmare trying to enter it all.
Is there an easy way to do this I have missed?

You can create your own 'recipes' so if you have a meal/salad you make repeatedly, you an enter it in as a recipe, then just add it as a single entry each time you have it.Is there an easy way to do this I have missed?
