I've been taking various eye drops for a few months due to serious infection. This had caused done toxicity and my eye is red. Dr says it's nothing to worry about and Will go. The bigger problem is it has made my eyelid swollen and dry it is quite itchy.

Anyone got a suggestion for what type of cream to help this? Tried Vaseline but yay only helped a little. I guess a steroid cream is a big no no on the eyelids?

Any 'dry eye' spray you spray on closed eyelids. From any chemist or largeish supermarket.

The key ingredient in this should be sodium hyalonurate or hyalonuric acid, which is a humectant.

A lot of those have preservatives like benzalkonium chloride which is probably the cause of the toxicity.

I have single shot artificial tears but they are just for the eyes not the lids.

not sure you still have the problem, but I suffer from blepharitis, and use bleptasol for lid cleaning. I use steam and hot tissue packs to help. works for me but.
