Nasty little bug and very contagious. Keep well away from everyone else for a few days and make sure you wash your hands well.

Horrible, horrible bug. I had it for two weeks, had a bum like a fire hose and lost a pound in weight a day. O/H put me in isolation on the top floor and left trays of drinks and toilet rolls on the landing. I wouldn't wish it on anyone - caught it when I had a mug of coffee at a mate's house, he had his grandson visiting. Mentioned it to them later and his wife said, "Oh, we've all had that...." as if it was nothing at all.

This is the reason hospitals and schools have a 48hr policy - stay home until 48hrs AFTER the LAST symptom (D or V). Unfortunately plenty of people ignore it

You have my sympathies. I once managed to get it two christmasses running. All I can remember is sitting on the loo with a bucket in front of me. Horrible stuff.

Thanks, I had a rough night, no details required but I think I've had the worst of it and have a slightly less screaming headache than earlier to contend with.
I won't be going out to play for a couple of days...

Had it a year past August and lost 7lb in 36 hours.

Horrible experience - I ended up feeling about 90 years old and completely drained.

Don't know how much weight I've lost, quite a bit I think. Worst d+v I've ever experienced but it appears short duration which is a relief.

Horrible bug you need to be locked in a room near your own bathroom for a good 3 days. Guaranteed way to loose weight you won't want to eat properly for weeks!
