My recipe which was stolen from Scooby (humorous online internet fitness guy, check him out)
200g Protein power
100g Milled oats
20g Coacoa Powder
75g Crunchy Peanut butter
50g Honey
100ml Milk
(Optional milled flax seed)
Chuck it all in a bowl, Mix into a putty with your hand. I then chuck it in a bread tray and put in fridge over night to harden then cut into even bars and put in sandwich bags and keep in the fridge.
Cut into 6 bars =
300 Kcal
33g Protein
21g Carbs
8g fat
3g Fiber
They taste lovely, Can be made with cheaper unflavoured protein or my favourite is myprotein cookies and cream. First protein bar ive discovered that doesnt give you a jaw workout trying to eat it.
If you want to spend money wait untill a deal comes up on the CNP oat bars (http://www.cnpprofessional.co.uk/the-cnp-range-c2/cnp-pro-strength-c21/cnp-pro-high-protein-pro-flapjack-snack-bar-box-of-24-p102)
Every now and then these come up at £10 a box of 24, I stock up with 3/4 boxes when they do, They are the only things if found that are edible off the shelf.
