Hi All,

My wife and I want a cross trainer for the garage......with a max budget of £400 what would you purchase and why?

We would love one, which is easy to use and has digital control of the resistance and heart/calorie monitor.

I see Argos have a few half price right now?

PS. Or should I keep looking on ebay for a local pro machine?....which still might be too expensive?
PPS. We would love an outdoor machine...the ones you have in the parks but I guess these are megga money as well??

If this would be your ultimate wish-fulfilled, why not just go for a run? Find a route with steps or hills in it for a bit more 'thigh action'.

Under doctors orders I have to switch to low impact exercise, tries a cross trainer while on holiday and wasn't very impressed with the workout compared to a concept 2 rower, have you considered one?

I had an Octane xtrainer for a couple of years, sold it for what I paid for it (purchased second hand).

I liked it, wife never got on with it. Started swimming and have found that to be much more effective tbh. I wouldn't go back to one now.
