I had a stroke last week, didn't know what the f**k was going on, my mate took me home from work and I went straight to bed, when my wife came up to see me she phoned an ambulance, the treatment I got from the ambulance men and the staff at both Salford (hope) and Bolton royal hospitals was fantastic, couldn't fault that.
The only pain I suffered was a banging headache, kept taking paracetamol which did nothing.
Anyway it was a very small stroke (tia) and I should be ok, already have Epilepsy, my mate just thought it was that.
Making me think about mortality, length of life that sort of thing, 60 years old in a few weeks, ah well, have to get ready for all the tests I suppose, bit of time off work, few lie ins, I suppose it could have been a lot worse, count my blessings etc.
