Calling the PH Dentists
Discussion
Your thoughts please...
I have an aching TMJ, or maybe it's my third molar. I'm not entirely sure. Over the last two days, an aching has developed in this area and is also referred down the right hand side of my neck. My neck is also rather tender. I saw my GP this afternoon and an initial examination showed nothing obvious. So the dentist is my next option. I have made an appointment for 0930 tomorrow.
One thing I have noticed, is that the pain/ache is improved rather a lot when I eat, particularly something quite chewy.
Does this sound like wisdom tooth issues? Or TMD?
I guess I will find out tomorrow but wondered what the PH Dentists Assocation thought as I have always received good advice on here.
Many thanks in advance

I would suggest it's likely to be your neck, as much as I can diagnose over the internet
Ah Good Afternoon Driller, many thanks for the response. Are you suggesting this due to the fact that when I eat on it, it helps? I would have thought it would have been quite the opposite if it was a toothy problem?
After a visit to the dentist this morning, I have been told that I have a localised infection at the back right, bottom row of my teeth.
Corsydyl, and I should be fine. Bloody painful though.
Otherwise my teeth are in good Nick by all accounts. I've ordered some tartar scraper thingys and a mirror to aid in home cleaning though to be extra diligent.
