Fantastic idea..Do you think it'll stop the sneezing? At least it'd give me a chance to scrub the claret off the walls.

Why? I'm sure it can't make any difference to the taste. Sounds a bit bloody silly to me.

Well, that's even sillier then chap - you'll get through a box of tissues in no time. Couldn't you just feign a tickly cough instead?

That will or may be an allergy to the tannin in the red wine. You may need to experiment with some other reds.

Right, so I need to try many different reds over a short period? Or stretch it out over a few hours? I'll also need a few boxes of Kleenex and some Benylin. I suppose it might be handy if I had someone with me to monitor the outcome...

Just stick to the Benilyn, drink enough of it and you'll replicate the effects of the wine with no unsightly wine splatter up the walls!

Though on the surface this sounds like a good idea, I've been doing the sums and it's a very expensive solution. In Boots, Benylin for tickly coughs retails at around £2.90 per 100lm. My average spend on 75cl of vino is around £10, so the Benylin soon adds up.

Unless the PH Massive can come up with a proper thought out solution to this life changing issue, I'll just have to struggle through in near silence. The sneezing is wrecking the lives of those around me and I'm having to drink in the mornings around 8:00am while the rest of the house is sleeping.

alcohol is histaminergic - i sometimes have similar after a few beers.
seems to be dose related for me as i seem to to be able to get through it after more beers.
