I know I know, hear me out...

I'm a fairly keen runner, but ive been injured for about two months, so ive managed to put on about a stone in that time.

To help my running improve 'quickly' I want to drop the baggage quickly, to enable me to run further and faster.

I'm not one who needs a healthy diet and lifestyle, I have one (well let it slip slightly when injury hit). So Ive not worried about putting weight back on, just need to shred it, and asap!

Any thoughts? I have 'juiced' before, but thats full of sugar.

LCHF generally works well for quick weight loss and you don't feel hungry due to high fat. You might put some of the weight you lose back on when you finish, although I didn't.

If you exercise a lot though you will find it tough. I had to give it up in the end because I couldn't train

Another advocate of LCHF, and especially relevant if you're a distance runner rather than a sprinter

See I found the the endurance exercise almost impossible on that diet. Others have found it great.

impossible how? In some cases the fat intake hasn't been high enough to provide the energy required

I've paid the $6 for the small booklet, lets see how it goes. I don't suppose you have his Rapid Fat Loss book, do you (for when I fail at extreme fat loss!)?

I could have saved you the $6- PM my your email and i'll send them through- I've the Rapid fat loss, Extreme one, and the Stubborn Fat Solution.

I'd try the Rapid Fat loss one before jumping in on the extreme version! Extreme on has you at a huge deficit, trying to get -5000 cals per day for 4 days...... you need hours spare just to get the cardio in.

I do, 25mile round trip to work and back x 2 per week.

Need to get in shape so I can ditch the bike and slip on the trainers and run to and from work. I don't actually find cycling does an awful lot in terms of weight loss, maybe its just me?

(p.s also, can't increase cycle trips due to family commitments)

I am now running, but I 'feel' like a lumbering rhino even though its 'only' a stone hence the'quick fix'

I'd be interested in looking at that book too, any chance I could cheekily ask?

Sounds like a good start. Be prepared to feel like st in about 10-14 days time when you hit a sugar low but press through it and as you become fat adapted it'll quickly pass.
