Broken finger - operation

Managed to break my finger in a good few places this afternoon whilst drilling out some spotlight holding all things...

Been to A&E and am due to have an operation to fix over the next few days.

How would they go about it? - rod's, wires?

I'm a golfer so need it back to how it was really, also what's the likely healing period (27 y.o)

I did this to my little finger. It looked like yours until I straightened it myself.

It was fixed with little wires in an op.

Then physio.

Thanks, the NHS never called me back so called up my PHI

Currently recovering in the Blackheath hospital after coming out of surgery about an hour ago. Apparently they couldn't do wires due to the level of break - all screwed up now and in wrapped in plaster, all I can feel is pins and needles in my other fingers, could be worse I guess!

Would still be waiting on a call if relying on the NHS...
