I'm just watching the Beeb Breakfast and they've got an item about a marked increase in allergy problems. Hospital admisssions up 33% in 5 years apparently.

I have never suffered from noticeable allergy issues (I am in my 50s now), but over the summer I was in Italy and started sneezing - and haven't really stopped since.

I seem to be okay on damp days, but dry days or if there is some sort of stimulant (pepper, spices etc) my right nostil becomes irritated and I start sneezing.

Use of a nasal antiallergenic spray sorts it out every time, so I am assuming this is genuinely an allergy, or at least increased sensitivity to allergens (if that makes sense).

Anyone any experience of this?
