Its not active fully for something like 28 days. Are you sure you didnt just get really unlucky and coincidentially got the actual flu around when you got the jab?p1stonhead said:

I get it quite badly so opt not to have the jab, even though I'm in a high risk group.
I think last year they got the prediction for which flu viruses would be the biggest threat for the season wildly wrong, so it was almost pointless having the flu jab.
