PH Help required - Any recommendations or suggestions..
After my mother had a demonstration from a pushy salesman today.. wanting her to part with £2650...
And my own internet search finding chairs from 250 to 2000, does anyone have experience of makes, types and retailers.?
Motorised, reclining, lifting for assisted standing and ideally casters on the base frame required. Massage not needed.

I know watchdog had a thing on these the other week. Pressuring old people to pay double what the seat is worth. They claim they're made to measure etc but it's all b
ks. That's all I know. Could you buy a second-hand one for a few hundred?

I bought a chair for my Dad for coming home from hospital but unfortunately he didn't make it home.
The chair was the biggest recline and lift chair the supplier made and cost £400 if you get a letter from your doctor you don't pay VAT.
Castors can be a problem as the chairs can move around if not locked down properly and you really don't want that. So just make sure they lock or work the way you want them.
I'd sell you ours but it's fecking massive.

Some very good chairs for around £1000.
Power rise recliners are about double manual recliners.
A good brand would be Sherborne (note spelling, there are some almost the same) we sell quite a few of these. May have a few around that are ex display that could be cheaper if delivery is in Sussex/Surrey area
