So, I'll try and give you the abridged version.

About 2 years ago I had the snip, no real issues all went to plan. About three months later I noticed my left nut was a tad lumpy and a bit tender. Went to the docs and ended up having a scan which revealed 3 cysts under my epididymis. They normally remove or drain cysts but because of where mine were that was a no go. I was pretty much told not much they could do, so live with it.

Fast forward 18 months and it's now much more painful, I'm taking ibuprofen daily just to get through the day, and can only wear loose clothing. It's also noticeably more pronounced in the lumpy department.
To be fair, I wasn't that concerned until I noticed a few other things.

Firstly I've been 10st4 ish since I was a teenager. I only ever fluctuated by a pound or two. A few weeks ago I thought my work trousers were getting a bit tight all of a sudden so I hopped on the scales at the gym....to my surprise I weighed in at 11st 8. Then 10 days later (today) I weighed myself again, and tipped the scales at 12st0.... that's 6lbs in 10 days!!! Wtf!

Add to that a noticeable increase in hair loss - it's literally falling out in the shower, and that my back and shoulders have gone spotty. I'm normally pretty clear skinned.

I'm 38 and pretty fit and well in an active job. Nothing else has changed, diet, exercise all constant.

Am I being paranoid that is all related and I've just hit being middle aged? Or could it all be hormone related?

I'm def off to the docs later in the week, but thought I'd ask here as I'm getting a bit vexed about it.

Cheers gents

Menopause wink

Joking aside though go to the docs. If it is causing you trouble and only in one nut could you have it removed? I've lived with one for pretty much all my life and it doesn't make any noticeable difference (appearance aside) + I have two kids to show for it.

I had this done in 2011. At the time I had a 1yo boy and when I picked him up his kicking feet would catch me in the plums or above the groin which was painful. The surgeon was reluctant to operate, even on the day of the surgery. I was adamant I wanted it done so he went ahead. When I came round later he said there was quite a bit of inflammated tissue in there and it was a good job he did it.
I would certainly tell the doc about the weight gain and skin though I'll doubt they're related.

It's been problem free now since then. My right knacker is 2/3 time the size of my left and I can feel the pipes in the top which feels lumpy. Doc says it fine though.

Sorry, no. Had a bit of a family crisis today so my problems have gone on the back burner. Will be going to the docs first thing next week.
Thanks for the advice guys.
