Rhinoplasty recovery time
Discussion
I was meant to have a nose job last week but it got delayed, anyway the op is now this friday in a day case unit. Im due to drive to Paris to go to Disney on the monday. Im now thinking will the weekend be long enough to recover? The surgeon said they will put a splint on afterwards.

I had a deviated septum repaired ...
How successful was it? The OH has the same issue and has considered surgery but has heard mixed reports as to its effectiveness.
king hell did it hurt! One of the problems I had after the first few weeks of the op was talking then snotting up & starting coughing & choking.Mine was useless, a complete waste of NHS money & my time & pain.

Also, I had a lot of scraps as a kid, so it isnt very straight, and now, when I lie on my left side in bed it clicks as I breathe in and out which is bloody annoying.
I had rhino plasty and a deviated septum sorted after years of boxing left me unable to breath through my nose. It hurt like hell for the first week and then recovery was pretty quick. Getting the packaging removed is a nightmare as mine required multiple visits as couldn't get it all out due to swelling. Would definitely recommend the op tho was a great help can breathe freely and my nose is now straight
