Laser eye surgery

Hi all.
Not sure if anyone has experienced it, but had my eyes done about 7 years ago by Optimax, and over the last 6 months I can feel my eyes deteriorating again. No where near as bad as they were, but still not as good as they had been.
They mentioned a 'top up' or retreatment, has any one had this?
Also looking at the permanent contact lense option too, anyone had it or thoughts on it?
