Tony Robbins + others any good?
Discussion
I personally spend two lots of 30 minutes working on motivation each day. Once first thing and then usually once before exercise, this helps me tremendously. I personally believe we need to focus on positive things given the media and other influences are often deeply negative. It's important that the voice inside our heads is a positive one.
I also use time in the car and at the gym to listen to positive things or upbeat music. I often train with youtube running on my iPhone to listen to positive things.
I think Tony Robbins is amazing and I love his stuff. He has a documentary on Youtube called 'I'm not your guru' which is very moving.
It's also worth pointing out that posture, food and many other things also affect our moods.
So in summary for me, its about getting the day off to a good start with something positive and then motivating myself to do things like go to the gym.

I second the comment about Tony Robbins. Some of his stuff might seem a bit overly gung-ho initially but stick with it because it works.
However, the best motivational book I have ever read is Three Simple Steps by Trevor Blake. I have always been wary of this genre but it is no exaggeration to say that this book has changed my life and continues to do so. Get it off Amazon asap and let us know what you think.
