I now have 3 of these red, dry blotches on my arm. I have been using hydrocortisone cream but that's not working so I'm now wondering if it's ringworm.

Any ideas?

So what's the treatment the doc recommended?

I've had this a few times because since having a daughter I'm not allowed to shower in the evening after squash and badminton in case I wake her up.

On prescription, I use Trimovate in a 30g tube. Works very well, but smells a bit funky when you put it on smile

Some sites say not to use it for that, but I was prescribed it by my doctor and it did the job.

What??!? Surely you can have a shower quietly without waking anyone? Even when my kids were at an age where waking them would be bad and easier to do it wouldn't stop us doing something like that. Better that they get used to a bit of noise when they're sleeping anyway as then noises are less likely to disturb them during the night.

If I get even remotely sweaty doing something then I'm literally itching to get in the shower as soon as I can, couldn't possibly go to bed like it. I feel the sweat burning my skin when I've been out for a run and I've found if I do leave it too long then I get rashes, inflammation etc.

I had to double read that, so you go to bed stinky or is it a flannel wash?

If you're going to bed after playing squash or badminton it won't just be the Timovate that smells 'funky'. yuck

Seriously you Shouldn't even think about going to bed without showering after such activity. nono

Seriously, can the OP just get some help. I feel we've lost focus and are concentrating on my inability to stand up to my wife smile

FFS fella, I'm no male chauvinist or supremacist but it sounds like you need to grow a pair.

It was not my intention but this thread could end badly. My ex was a bit of a 'boss', please just fight back or you WILL regret it later.

Mate, try the cream it works. Honestly, I love my wife to bits, what I said was tongue in cheek.
