Walking shoes that don't look like walking shoes?

Can anyone recommend any brands / models of shoes for walking 10/15km a day, 80% on hard surfaces, that don't look like walking shoes?

Closest I've seen are:

I've just had some of these, comfortable waterproof, smart enough to wear out.

No idea re longevity yet I rarely get a year out of them.

These are now discontinued but we used to recommend them at work to the people who had to walk on hard floors all the time, non slip shoes and very good comfort.

You should be looking at something like the Asics for hard floors rather than Walking shoes. Walking shoes have two problems, the tread pattern is aggressive which causes pressure points and wears unevenly , and the sole itself is stiff to avoid rocks hurting your feet which doesn't help with comfort. I do a lot of work in a Datacenter which is all hard flooring and miles of walking and the entire staff are in Asics, they are that good.

Im currently trying out merrel for my plantar fasciitis... so far so good but still got it and hasnt "cured" it.

Have you considered minimalist shoes like freets or lems.

I walk about 20km a day in freets, and my feet have never felt better.

Im on my second pair having worn out the first over a few years

Mine are Goretex (GTX branded) and have excellent weather protection.

Currently in a grey pair but my last ones were a shade of denim and both are low key enough to wear to the boozer and/or work

Thirded. Scarpa GTX are my summer walking shoe. They're basically like a tough trainer.
