Which meal replacement shake?
Discussion
I'm 5'8" 76kg. Look alright just a bit of a belly. I want to replace my sandwich at work with a meal replacement shake. I don't snack much so I have breakfast cereal, nothing till lunch when I have bagel and fruit, then a bunch of stuff in the evening. But not that much.
Would a shake be less calories than a bagel? Or should I replace the cereal instead?
I don't want to do some intense system I just want to reduce my daily calories so my body must drop some weight.
Ta!

That really depends on your serving size of the sake. and what your bagel is + it's fillings. A plain new york co' bagel is 230cals on its own. As for Huel I really wouldn't bother on something expensive like that. Just buy whatever you feel like/afford and make sure that. You could quite easily just buy yourself some flavourless whey protein and measure out some oats and have that in a shake with water (or measure out some milk). just bear in mind that1- the serving size you take is less calories then what you normally eat
2- you're not compensating buy taking in more calories else where.
If you're doing it for convienience then ok. But if you're doing it for satiety then a high protein/low fat/high volume/high fiber meal (like a lean meat + salad) will fill you up loads more then a shake would.
I always take to work or the park at the weekends / off-days, a shaker with the combo (as above) of fine oats, unflavoured protein, plus a teaspoon of splenda sweetener. Recently bought some Vitargo, but will wait till I've finished the oats before trying that.
Keep it simple and cheap methinks. No need for anything overly fancy.
