Using a pee bottle

I've started to use a pee bottle rather then getting up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet. At what age do you think this is acceptable? I have a demanding job and don't want to waste energy going to the loo in the middle of the night and a pee bottle is so more convenient. I'm not sure if i'm just being idle or very efficient?

The house I was born in didn't have an inside bathroom at all. A small hours pee required donning
a dressing gown and slippers, schlepping downstairs, though the kitchen and out to the privy
at the end of the path. It involved taking a candle to see by, battling the spiders and hoping
it wasn't raining, or worse, snowing.

Inclement conditions made it acceptable to use a china gazunder but it remained unused
for most of the year.

And no, I wasn't in prison.

Well I think it's great that someone born 120 years ago has kept up with technology and is using the internet.

I have kept a potty next to my bed for years. Since around the same time I started to fold the back seats down in my 1.6D Corsa to save weight. Bonus is my poodle is often thirsty in the night, meaning I rarely have to empty it.

What age are you ? - I'm guessing 90-95 ?

I worked in a house in London last year that had a toilet at the bottom of the garden and no bathroom. The only water in the house was a cold tap on an old butler sink in the kitchen.
