Walking down my stairs on the weekend I missed the bottom step and went down like a sack of s**t.
Pain like i've never felt. Visited A @ E Sunday afternoon and they kept me in, operated on it yesterday, a full cast on it tomorrow as long as the swelling goes down a bit, home hopefully tomorrow or Thursday. Consultant said it was a partial tear of the Quadricep muscle above my knee and that it had taken some pieces of bone away with it.
Has anyone on here experienced this type of injury and if so did you fully recover and if so what sort of timescale? 3 months is what I am hearing as long as the op is successful
I can't really afford to be off work at the moment with a new house on the horizon etc.
