Hairline Cracks
Discussion
I decided to have my lower/bottom teeth straightened a few months ago, so after a few consultations with the dentist, I weighted up the options and decided on ceramic metal braces.
Now I'm sure 1 upper tooth had a vertical hairline crack pre-brace fitment but recently I've been woken up at night with a gritting/sudden crunch sound from my teeth, no doubt the affect of the braces are causing this sudden wake up.
This morning after VERY close inspection of my top teeth with a very bright light, I was horrified to find quite a number of my teeth with these hairline cracks,
I feel powerless at the moment to just think me getting my braces fitted that are straightening my front lower teeth are causing permanent damage to my upper teeth.
I have an appointment with the dentist next week, and HIGHLY doubt I'll be able to get to see him sooner to tell him of my concerns.
Is there an actual fix for these hairline cracks?
