Knee pain post exercise
Discussion
Hi all,
After some pointers on who best to see with a knee injury.
It appears to occur after an impact injury during a football match last season.
I (the gk) came out for a one on one, won the ball & was subsequently 2 footed to the inside of my left knee, it hurt to hell at the time, sharp stabbing pain, bit of cold spray & i finished the match, i had the usual multi-colour bruising & swelling, which i iced up.
However when i do any form of pro-longed exercise, my knee feels incredibly weak afterwards, although it's the actual joint itself that feels weak.
This could be anything from going to the gym, using an exercise bike, or any sort of walking over a few hundred metres.
I'm not really looking for someone to diagnose my injury, however i'm unsure of who to go to to get it diagnosed, the GP just refers you to a physio, the physio's at our local NHS are horrendous & its hardly an emergency, so i'm not going to go to casualty?!
