I should probably get down the docs but it just seems a bit too trivial to justify...

So I've got an issue with my right arm, it sort of started out in my shoulder, was quite sore and a bit weak, made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Not quite sure what started it. I put some Ibuprofen gel on it over the course of a week or so and when massaging that in I could feel that my neck muscles were also a bit sore / tight.

The pain is nowhere near as bad as it was, stopped using the Ibuprofen, and sleeping is generally okay now though sometimes it takes me a few turns to find a comfortable position. Weird thing is that it's sort of moved from my shoulder and I now have noticeable soreness in my upper arm - tricep/bicep type thing. I also get tingling / pins and needles in my hand from time to time. As I spend most of my day in front of a computer at work this seems to increase it especially as I'm right handed. Don't know if it's an RSI type thing?

Upshot is that it seems to be getting better just really slowly and is therefore quite frustrating. I go running three times a week and I'm not really sure if this makes it worse or better, no real pattern to it but I don't really want to stop the running as it's keeping me in good shape.

Any ideas?

Get a sports injury therapist to examine it?

Just had the exact same thing sorted by a physio. An hour of poking and rubbing and it feels much better. Got an hour booked next week also.

Did you get a referral from your GP or just go private?
