Anyone on here doing the wooler marathon this weekend.

Wind chill of -7, probably could have picked a better 1st marathon. Wishing you best of luck if you are.

The Trail Outlaws stuff is always longer than half or marathon distance - from what I understand last year the marathon over 28miles. Though the organisers were quick to correct one runner overheard to be claiming to be an 'ultra' runner hehe.

Good luck! GF is marshalling this year and is away up there at 5am.

Leisurely Brampton to Carlisle 10miler for me.

Good luck! Few of my fellow Saltwell Harriers running too. GF is on registration I found out last night, she was torn between running and marshalling, I'm not sure either is an easy option!!!

Will think about you when I'm supping my first beer having ran a mere 10 miles!!!

I have two sets of B&B's doing this tomorrow.
Being nice people we are even getting up in time to give them breakfast!
It can be cold up in the hills so be prepared!

I think we got lucky yesterday. It was frozen but WOW the views. I'll say it again just WOW.

Makes 7 hours of running / falling / climbing worth it. Was a brutal but beautiful event.

Nice one , i bet you'll remember it a lot longer than a pb on a road run.
