Girlfriend getting too chubby
Discussion
My girlfriend is beginning to fire on the pounds and it’s beginning to put me off her. I am beginning to get embarrassed about taking her out to social events with me. When we first started courting she was skinny and beautiful however now she is still beautiful but a bit of a fatty.
I want to tell her it’s putting me off. I love her but this new body she is developing doesn’t tick my boxes. How shall I go about this ?
I know I sound hard but I’m being fair too. I want to save her from herself

Its likely that shes just realised her new boyfriend has the emotional literacy of a 7y old and seeks advice from motoring websites instead of talking things through with his loved ones in times of stress. Consequently shes anxious that dumping you would tip you into a downward spiral of aggressive stalking and Xbox addiction and so now knowing how vacuous you are has a quick plan to eat a few extra Big Mac's so you dump her instead.
Probably

I once worked at a house where on one of the kitchen cupboards was a photograph of this good looking slim girl.
The girlfriend of the owner came in one day and going up the stairs she filled the gap between the wall and handrail.
A few days later she's in the kitchen with her friend having a coffee , her friend says to her " why is that old picture of you on the door ?" ,she replied "Mark put it there to remind me what I used to look like before I go into the biscuit cupboard".
I guessed she was getting her own back everytime she opened the door.
