World record "running" attempts
Discussion
Apologies if I'm being a bit special, but I've not found much online or on here about this, so I thought I'd utilise the PH hive mind!
I'm never ever going to be a fast runner to compete for genuinely impressive running records. However... I've completed several marathons, ultras, obstacle races, and endurance events. But I'm a big guy, so I'm slooooooow. Usually 1hr50 ish for HM, 3hr50 ish for a full marathon. For perspective, I'm currently 6'2", and approximately 18st (not all flab though, honest!
)
I fancy something different - does anyone know the fastest time for a mile / 5km / 10km / HM / Marathon pulling a car? What weight did it have to be? >1,000kgs I'd assume, but happy to be informed otherwise.
Thanks all!

Basically, if you look hard enough you’ll either find a world record you can beat or invent one.I'm never ever going to be a fast runner to compete for genuinely impressive running records. I suggest you go for the fastest 1k, pulling a 4door 2 litre saloon, uphill, on a Wednesday, wearing flipflops.
Let us know how you get on

I don't think it's too specific - and Guiness won't recognise overly specific record attempts.
A short while ago my boss beat the world record for fastest piggyback mile (he was the carrier, not the load).
Fastest time pulling a car over a set distance - I can only find a marathon time of around 19hrs. Plenty of info on that. But the other distances? I'm not sure of.
