Glandula fever - retina attachment anomalie -neurosurgeon

Daughter had glandular fever a year ago.

Tne last 6 months she has had geadaches, feeling sick in stomache, occasionally seeing water droplets in vision.

Optomologost says there is an anomolie in how tne optic nerve is attatched to one eye.
We have to make an appointment with a neurologist. (Sorry...not neurosurgeon)

No flashes or floaters etc so i think no imminent retinal detatchemnet.o
But who knows...the mother didn’t ask and tne doctor didn’t say. Useless.
But the waiting time for a nerologist os 2 months.

I was not there, and tne mother doesn’t even know which eye, let alone if this is serious or she can go on water slides on holiday etc etc.

I am thinking of going to a private neurologist just to have some info or tne seriousness/urgency, and know if there are activities she should not do....flying....water parks.....amusement parks....all things we have planned.

Any experiences of such a condition?

Any experiences of seeing a neurologist privately in uk?
