I figured this would be better in here than the gadget or watch forums!

What do people use for tracking their exercise routines? I am a bit of data/stats geek - I had a Pebble watch for a couple of years which tracked steps and sleep and worked with runkeeper for runs, but I have just bought an Android Wear watch which seems to have a lot of options, but you can only really use one at a time.

Sadly it seems there is no native sleep tracking which is annoying so I will probably end up wearing my Pebble at night while my Android watch charges!

Runkeeper works although I've not tried it for a run yet, and I like the way it preseves GPS stuff and records everything.

Google Fit has all my old data from the Pebble but it seems to present it in a crap way and doesn't seem to keep all the data (GPS, heart rate, etc).

My watch (Ticwatch E) comes with an app called "Fitness" which does a similar thing but doesn't display much info and I guess it won't be that portable.

Something else, like Strava?

I had been hoping Google Fit would keep all the data (including sleep from the Pebble) in one place but unless I am using it wrong you can't see maps of where you've run etc. The phone showed a "map" of my heartrate over my last run at the end but I can't see it looking in the app on my phone.. Runkeeper looks the better option at the moment although, obviously, no sleep tracking.

Thoughts?

I use a Samsung Gear S3 and a Samsung S7 phone , using the Samsung Health app which does sleep, running , walking , o2 levels and works fairly well although I have another thread trying to understand the sleep data

Hmmm, just taken a look at Strava and it looks pretty good. Syncs with Google Fit too (although it looks like it sends data to it rather than imports from it if that makes sense...)

I’ve got a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier and the associated Apps on my OnePlus3T. It can use the UnderArmour/Endomondo/MapMyRun series of fitness tracker Apps.
The watch is really good (£270 on Amazon at the moment) too, a really excellent Smartwatch.
