Has she got the strength to use crutches? If not then a wheel chair maybe the only option. Still going to be a pain though (says the man who's just done 6 weeks in crutches)
Hope she's ok, at least she didn't cut her head in a car crash and give up motorbikes
She should have - very fit and able but struggled last night. (Guessing due to the shock).Hope she's ok, at least she didn't cut her head in a car crash and give up motorbikes
What are her current bathing facilities like? If she's got a bath, it might be worth looking into a bath board so she can perch on the bath and shower but with her leg out of the bath. Perhaps some temporary (you can get ones with suction cups) grab rails placed in places like the living room, bathroom and front door. Maybe also some sort of seat to increase the height of the loo, perhaps a visit to a local mobility shop is called for.
