Yes I'm aware that generally speaking you don't need any supppliments etc.
Ive read all over about how creatine can help make you feel like you have more energy when exercising/lifting. It can sometimes make people feel bloated and causes a little water retention.

I've also read that it can be beneficial on a cut/fat loss/calorie deficit for the purposes of muscle rentention, aiding in workouts.

But, what are people's personal experiences of using it here? (on a fat loss).

My intentions are to use it as part of fat loss, doing cardio and lifting, I've not done some exercise since october, so gradually getting back into it at the moment. I'm aware it's probably just a case of going more often and getting back into the routine/habit of it. But even it helps in me feeling more up for cycling over to the gym at the end of the day to work out then I'm all for it.

If there's a mention of pre-workouts then I don't think they're for me. one time I tried a black coffee before a workout and didn't like the fact that my HR would barely settle down between sets.

I can't really comment on the effects of taking creatine in isolation for fat loss, but I did have noticeable gains in strength - I ran it alongside taking MK-47 and there were definitely noticeable losses in fat. Became very lean and very strong, with some appreciable amounts of size. I should just add that I was doing huge amounts of cardio as well - but I wasn't really burning much in the way of muscle. The two together certainly worked for me.

I used to be into lifting heavy things a few years’ ago and used creatine (monohydrate I think?) for about 9 months. I noticed no benefit from using it however did develop quite bad stomach pains/cramps which stopped almost immediately after I stopped taking creatine.

It also tasted fking horrible.

https://examine.com/supplements/creatine/

Scroll down to the Human Effect Matrix and it gives you different results for benefits/claims etc.

Really useful website for just about any supplement.
