Anyone use them? In these days where I can get anything online seems to make sense.

I'm type 1 diabetic so need regular meds each month.
I'd rather use one on the high street, but my local town is a 12 mile round trip and the Pharmacy there is pretty poor. The prescriptions are rarely made up before one arrives (I usually give them a few days) then often stuff missing so you have to go back. They'll deliver but charge £5 a time, the whole thing gets my goat quite frankly.

I have used them for my last 3 (2 monthly) repeat prescriptions and so far the service has been perfect. My surgery unlike some will not accept prescription requests from a 3rd party but I order online through Patient Access and within 2 or 3 hours I have had notification from Pharmacy 2U saying that they have my prescription. Throughout the day I receive text updates telling me that it is being picked & packed etc and it is either despatched the same day or the next latest.
They are well known for some pretty dodgy practices. They mail shot an area with a letter addressed personally purporting to ask which chemist you prefer to use for your prescriptions. Big NHS logo's on it so it looks good and official. If you send it back as requested, they assume control of your repeat prescriptions regardless of what you've indicated on the form.
My mum got one recently and my sister read it and replied back that Mum wanted to use the local pharmacy. Next repeat prescription was taken over by Pharmacy 2u and we had a real battle to get it back into our local pharmacy. They are very sharp practice and have a bad rep and heavy fines already.
Plus your prescription is only delivered via the mail and if you miss the postie, then you will need to collect from the post depot. Might not be an issue for you but for anyone elderly, it's not a good service in reality.
Personally for something as crucial as insulin, I wouldn't risk using a postal service. If you ran short for some reason, you'd be stuck reliant on the post to get your new supply.
