How much did your hair transplant cost?

The offer is for 25% discount, or £3750.......my maths suggests the normal cost would be £15,000! Is that accurate?

I suspected the cost would always be thousands of pounds, maybe upto £5k, but 15 big ones? Feck me.

Someone I know had one, was 5k. That advert reminds me of the horrible medical ones you see in the US where the doctors all have gold rolexes on their wrists...I know nhs doctors can afford Rolexes if they want them but it just didn’t sit right with me...

If it was a very good company would they need to give a discount?

As we are mostly car fans I remember Johnny Herbert going to abroad to get his done. But again he no doubt got his for free for advertising.

A work colleague has his done in Turkey for around £2500. Instead of looking bald he now looks like he's going bald but in denial with a comedy long fringe

Wasn't there some drugs discovered that caused hair growth? What is the position with them these days?

Think most drugs do nothing. Wayne Rooney took most by the sounds but then had to get a hair transplant.

I did see this on YouTube which looked amazing but I just would not bring myself to wear it.

But I could see why others would.

Also heard about the new hair tattoo's where it looks like stubble on your head but this also seems extreme.

Hair transplants rarely look good. The hair line always seem to look false, and the coverage looks wrong.

If I was to have one I would want it to look like I have normal hair, even if that meant it looked like it was thinning (ie roll back a few years rather than a few decades)

Trying to cover an entire bald head with a so little donor hair just doesn't work

Got a plane in Instanbul to come home and the guy behind looked like he'd been in some sort of accident. It was only during the flight as we heard him talking we realised he'd had hair transplant surgery! Seemed a long way to go, but I guess cheaper.......

I used to do some work for one of the tattoo places, micro dermabrasion they call it. Load of (expensive) ste imo. It might be more high tech but it should be as shameful as wearing a syrup. Several grand and you can see it's not real a mile off?
