I have a Kefir smoothie with Apple cider vinegar (inc mother) and aloe vera every morning, seems to reduce my excema and reflux issues....
Used Kombucha to ran out....
Yet to try Kimchi
I've got some ACV with the mother, also bought some kombucha today, it's lovely, but a tad expensive. Looked around for real kimchi/sauerkraut but the suprmaches only have pasteurised fake versions. Used Kombucha to ran out....
Yet to try Kimchi
Gonna buy some kimchi off the net and see what it is like.
Trying a supplement at the moment. I’m about 3 weeks into the 2 month supply I bought

Not sure what, if anything, it is doing, haven’t noticed any difference

interesting, bio choc balls...
the stuff in the gut, it's complex. it can change over time to you're diet and it's a snowball effect. the rich are even having other people's fecal matter (younger, viral) swapped over.
if you stick with it, you'll probably never notice the difference (if you have a typical uk diet) but it'll probably help you long term.
I bought some ACV flavoured 'juice'...interesting, but not gonna be a regular thing. Still yet to buy the kimchi thing, gonna use up my lovely...'juice'...first.

The areas of the world where more people live to be 100...
In those places it is down to absence of processed food and lots of mostly raw fruit, veg and fish
Myself I am going for the fresh fruit/veg route. With a fermented thing, I’ll probably mix it up but kombucha tea is really nice The areas of the world where more people live to be 100...

I've been looking into these. I have a few skin infections recently and been on loads of courses of antibiotics. Don't normally make me feel ill but the recent ones have and I've not felt great since.
Only one of these food I like is sauerkraut but it seems all the stuff in the supermarket is pasteurised. Anyone tried making their own?
Any benefit to the food over a supplement?

Buy one of these and some kefir grains off eBay. I use it to make Kefir daily, add it to my smoothie the next day.
