How to build my garage gym ?
Discussion
Hey All,
I need an idea to build my garage gym, I want to go on weight lifting.
I made a list which equipment I will need
1- bar
2- bumper plates 5-10-20... kgs
3- rubber floor
what else will I need?
I found bars and bumpers https://wolverson-fitness.co.uk/search?q=weight+pl... and rubber floor mats from https://www.flooringfitness.com/gym-flooring/weigh...
any idea or better solutions ?

It's easier than faffing around trying to get the right stuff second hand.
I got a bench like this:

When I bought mine. Which mean leg curls which is good but I'd think about placement before setting it up. The gym lives in my parents garage and my parents insisted on keeping the garage set up a certain way. This meant that the rack is in the middle of the garage facing a wall and getting that really long bench in and out when wanting to bench press is a PITA!

My home gym is ridiculously over-equipped (but tiny), so you can fit a lot in a small space.
Power rack (with chin/pull up station)
Rubber matting for deadlifts
2 barbells - so you can superset
Trap bar
Football bar
250kg of plates (inc 2 sets of 25s and 2 sets of 20s so you can superset)
Lat pull down attachment for rack
Landmine
Bench
Dumbbells (not many because they suck)
Kettlebells (I have two 24kg bells)
T-bar attachments (for rows with the landmine)
If I had more space, I would add:
Farmers carry bars
Prowler
Rowing machine
