I take enalapril for high blood pressure. I'm currently on holiday and have just opened a "new" box to find it empty! I've picked up the old box instead of a new one.

Is there any way to get prescription drugs while abroad and without a prescription?

It's only a week so not a major issue but would rather take them if possible.

Some suggestions from me.

European pharmacists may be able to give you a small supply as you have the box as proof. Many are prescribers and can do alot more interventions compared to the UK.

Travelled with holiday company? Do they have a telephone contact for medical support?

Travel insurance support?

Local private GP in your area of Corfu happy to see you?

Good point, the prescription should be printed on the box. I'll check when I'm back in the villa.

We're not with a travel company, we booked very thing separately.

Id try my luck with the local pharmacist

Take the empty box, act like a true gent abroad and ask if you can buy just enough pills for the rest of your stay - I cant imagine they're expensive

Good luck
