Ptosis Surgery
Discussion
When you say ptosis is that eyelid ptosis or brow ptosis as they are two very different issues.
True upper eyelid ptosis should be treated with surgery on the levator muscle of the eyelid (the one that opens the eye), sometimes this is combined with a blepharoplasty to remove any associated excess skin that can compound the drooping eyelid.
If it is brow ptosis then a brow lift can certainly help. There are a number of different approaches including endoscopic (several small scars in the hairline of the scalp) or an open approach with a scar located in the eyebrow hairline.
If the brow ptosis is only slight - have you considered botulinum toxin to help raise the brow - it is non-surgical but temporary.
