Just the usual dog walk. Back to normal diet now, an unopened Christmas cake in the cupboard. Probably drop it down to the food bank.

Yes.

I stretched out both of my elbows to feel if there was any wood there.

There was not. cloud9

A sure indicator of yet another brilliant day in the life of glenrobbo. bowtie

With my health a dog walk is about as much as I can manage. Which is what I did.

4 mile walk with wife, kids and the mutt. Barely drank last night, so it was easy

Gentle stroll down the local to fetch the car from last night.

Then a general house tidy and prepare for going back to work in the morning.

Does having one's pulse raised, whilst still in bed, count?

A walk with the dogs (11,500 steps) with a couple of pints of Doombar at the halfway point.

Would like to think it was a calorie neutral event, but I fear the beer may have edged that particular battle.

Went out for the first time in a while on the mountain bike, just a short local route can tell I've not been out as much as I'd like, made eve harder by a lot of beer and a takeaway last night plus barely anything to drink and nothing to eat today.

Does sex count as exercise also?

I peeled the spuds for the fish pie.

Surprisingly - disappointingly - not a euphemism.

Took the dog down to the coast and did a nice 4km - was a really nice morning too, quiet and a few other dog walkers and the odd walker-of-shame

Dog walk for 45 minutes.

Looking at the above, I think its safe to conclude that having a dog is very beneficial. Exercise aside, those little furry bundles of joys help you relax, make you laugh (mine does daily) and show you the true meaning of loyalty.

Go get one now if you're contemplating it.

Went to the gym, thought I'd better get in before the January influx of people strangling themselves on the cable machine.
