I cant get into the doctors until tommorow so just wondering if anyone has experienced this before as im starting to worry a bit.

I suddenly was quite constipated a few months back, i think it has to do with me cutting milk out at the same time (seems to upset my stomach), anyway i have some days i struggle to pass and some days im fine. However in the last 2 months my appetite which was once ravenous is now practically gone, i only eat because i know i need too, and energy levels have gone down the pan, most times i go the gym im out after 20 minutes as i dont have the energy to continue. My stomach is also bloating quite a lot.

I wont lie i have become relatively sedentary lately where i do spend a lot of time on the couch and i have stopped walking to work.

Its just ive never experienced this loss of appetite before and the lethargy is making it hard to move about much.

Could be anything - depression, hypothyroidism etc... your GP is your best bet. smile

How are you feeling mentally? Happy? Sad? Flat? Excited?

Ive lost weight so assuming its not hypothyrodism based on that.

Mentally im not depressed or anything but due to my lack of energy i do just feel 'meh' about most things, mainly because i cant be bothered to move and go anywhere.

Hard to say - you're eating less so could still lose weight. I know someone who was similar and then diagnosed with hypo.

I guess one thing you could try is to push it a bit in the gym on a gym bike even though you don't have the energy or motivation. Maybe have a Mars Bar or similar for a sugar boost beforehand. Get the endorphins flowing, see how you feel.

But still see the GP!

I drink about 75grams of glucose during my workout for the sugar boost, doesent seem to do anything haha.

Could try an espresso but best to see what the doc says before trying other things.

Hypothyroidism does not stop weight loss. Maybe extreme cases do. I have hypothyroidism and on 125mcg and I can easily lose weight. Thing I have found is the my weight can yo yo around. Though symptoms don’t tend to just hit in such an acute manner. Hope all will be ok.

Go to the doctor as soon as possible to get a diagnosis.
Any thirst and\or thrush or fungal infections? Do you get up every night to have a pee? Does your urine smell more than usual?
Are you on a diet each as Keto or no carb?
Is your sight blurred at all?

don't drink the extra glucose for now either. It could be making you feel worse.

Lots of things on the list of possible diagnoses but you need an urgent referral to exclude something going on in your bowel. Your GP should refer you on the 2 week maximum wait pathway. Hope you get sorted ASAP.
