Best fitness dumbbells for home

I am thinking of buying some dumbbells for home use.

Can someone kindly recommend any which also don't take up much space?

I got a set of Bowflex.
Expensive but good quality and had them for years.
One pair will do various weights.

I got a set of adjustable bodymax dumbells 5-32.5kg couldnt justify the space for a rack full of them.

If you do get some make sure you get a stand or something like as picking them up off the floor all the time will do your head in.

Facebook marketplace for some local, can sometimes pick up a bargain. You'll have to do some legwork in terms of whats good and what isn't though

specifically, what exercises will you be using them for?

Thought about a kettle bell or two instead? In my opinion they are better for fitness - kettle bell swings, snatches, cleans, squats etc.

I am thinking of getting the dumb bells specifically to improve strength in my arms.

I picked up some cheap spinlock sand dumbells on FB marketplace.

They were ok for a few weeks, bit they are very bulky and I have quickly run out of weight. Even at only 20kg per arm.

This could be in part a factor of the weight selection have,

If you can afford, go for some adjustable ones. I don't have bodymax dumbells bit the weight plates I have seem good quality.
