So i did a snowboarding lesson a couple of weeks ago, and it made me realize just how unfit i am. So as i want to continue with snowboarding i want to try and get a bit fitter and lose a bit of weight to make it easier for myself.
One thing i wasnt sure on is i hear alot of people i know that go to the gym regularly, who do leg day, arm day etc etc. Is that best best way to exercise just concentrating on one group of muscles a day i.e. monday - Arms, tuesday Legs - Wednesday- Back, Thursday Cardio etc etc. Or would i be better off just doing a smaller amount of each every day?
I have access to a weight bench with barbell and dumbells, a treadmill and a bike. Used to do alot of cycling so enjoy that so want to get out on the bike again, but any other tips?

For general fitness, I think you could quite easily stick with the tried and tested basics.
Some running, some cycling, some swimming; and then some bodyweight exercises: press-ups, sit-ups, burpees etc.
Do one thing each day. Have one day off. each week.
For the bodyweight exercises, I'd recommend an app called '7 Minute Workout'.
