Basic weight/bench advice required
Discussion
Hi,
After purchasing a weight bench and weights in my early 20's, which were never used and subsequently given away I vowed never to waste money on home gym equipment again. That said, I am now looking for a relatively cheap bench and some free weights to build upper body muscle (I'm now 45). I love cycling and swimming so that should take care of the cardiovascular side of things. I'm not a great fan of gyms, and I honestly believe I will be able to motivate myself this time....
I've looked at the Argos offerings, but would welcome some advice on what to buy, including what sort of weights to start with. I am lucky enough to have a reasonably well proportioned figure to start with (11st 11lb/6ft) although my arms are a bit weedy so I want to attempt to bulk up a bit.
Thanks
Tim
