Inflamed taste buds
Discussion
Anyone had this? I’m not sure what caused it - I think it might have been licking envelopes at work on Friday.
Saturday wasn’t too bad, thought maybe I’d just burnt my tongue. Sunday it was starting to get really uncomfortable and yesterday was pretty rough - bought some benzocaine gel stuff which provides pretty good relief.
Today is a little better - doing salt water rinses, hydrogen peroxide mouth wash and ice cubes. Also found running them over my teeth and ‘popping’ them seems to help (popping in the wrong word, I think I’m just pushing them down).
On reddit there are people cutting the odd one off if it’s large, mine are tiny and red and there are loads of them.
Grim!

I get this occasionally. One of, but not the only triggers for me are cranberries,. I think the juice is to acidic. I never eat them now.
I would have them for 3 or 4 days. Biting them off is really painful, but relief is almost instant.
Bongela is good, only problem is trying not swallowing it. I quite like the taste.
