Ideal method to remove coconut oil from container?

Hi Folks

I use coconut oil on my skin and have considerable trouble removing it from its container when it is in it's solid format.

Can anyone kindly advice how I could do this?

Have you tried a spoon, out there suggestion I know but It has worked for me in the past.

I generally just scoop it with my fingers - I know its a quite hard when its cold tho.

If it is cold, I use my finger nails around the outside edge to scoop some up.

I keep a jar on the radiator!

You could also use the wrong end of a spoon....

Put it in a sink of warm water for a while and it will liquefy.

Do you do it after you shower?
If so just bring the pot into the shower with you.
The hot water and steam should loosen it up enough maybe

yeh, the cooking stuff has a low melting point... so just warm it up a bit and pour it out!

How to remove a solid from a jar that turns liquid if warm....hmmmm....put it in the fridge? Ask it nicely???
