Home made remedies .... that work!

My default setting is to consider any suggestion of home-made remedy to be bks.

However, I stumbled across a face-pack remedy that consists of gram flour, turmeric, yoghurt and lemon. Out of curiosity, I (and my daughter) gave it a try.

I suffer from Rosacea, one of the issues of which is an oily noise and reddish blemishes. I whacked this concoction on last Saturday (leave it on for 20 mins) and I have to say that since then, my noise has been oil-free and noticeable reduction in blemishes too.

Apart from your face smelling like dinner for 20 mins, I have to say that it appears to work.

Any other proven home-made remedies?
