cure for what? I guess cancer. There will never be a cure as the way the cells work you don't cure them, it is a range of factors that cause 'cancer' we end up with.
There is a treatment which uses the body immune system to fight the cancer, immunotherapy. I think the USA is the only place you can have treatment, it is in the many tens of thousands, and no guarantee.

you can modify viruses yo use them as a way to inject dna into a host, they think viruses have had a part in our evolution. This is nothing new our DNA has remnants of Virus DNA. It would be a potential carry for immunotherapy. which it seems this company is. This is all very green. The problem is the complexity that it may work for one person but not another.
The best bet is immunotherapy that is being used currently, but it has it advantages and disadvantages. At the momment there is no real cure.

Oncolytic viruses are an older idea but haven't gained the same kind of traction yet (not to say they do not or wont work, they have just proved tricky to engineer) and are explained here:

I think you are talking about CAR-T cells. CAR-T immunotherapy is performed in the UK but only for a very small number of diseases, many of which are still at clinical trial stage. It can work wonders for some (e.g CD19 B cell leukemia) but it is very cancer and target specific.
