anyone got a tempur mattress?

if so what bed base do you have? i have a tempur with a slatted base and i think its causing the mattress to go funny. do you have a divan if so is it a solid one?

We have mattress on a solid divan type base, one of Tempur's base's, but forget which one.

We have a similar mattress and it went a bit funny, turns out some of the slats from our bed had fallen out underneath, just a thought, might be worth a check!

We've had one on a slatted superking sleigh bed for years. Never a problem, except it's so effing heavy that rotating it once in a while cripples the back it's supposed to be soothing.

feels way too soft and not even and is making my back hurt. my slats are old and knackered and am wondering if best with a solid base. dont see the point of slats

might be wrong, but don't they recommend slated base for these mattresses for 'breathing'.

Try swapping the slats the ones in the middle might be less springy than the ones at head and feet.

You can also replace slats.

done that - not sure if its in my head or what but doesnt feel right. yes they do although have seen a web article where someone says his improved with a solid base as the foam goes between the slats. not sure how much foam can be aired

I bought mine a few months ago and don't have any regrets. At that time I got some sleeping issues so I bought this matress and also weighted blanket. I found info about weighted therapy and decided to give it a try, see this article. It worked for me.

We have a Tempur on top of a solid slatted king size oak bed. The slats are wide and solid as opposed to sprung (think of the way a rib cage works) so as far as I’m concerned it’s very similar to a duvan bed base - bed experts may have a different view

Been pleased with it since we got it in February though i suspect it’ll feel hotter than our old pocket sprung once the warmer weather comes (despite it being the latest version which claims to be breathable / super cool etc).

I've heard of some people putting thin sheets of plywood on top of their slats so the mattress doesn't sink in between each slat, might be worth a try?

Oak furniture land. Some of their beds are sprung slatted and some are solid slats though they do say on each bed so you should be able to identify which is which.
