I've decided to add a load of running to my usual weights routine, may well of overdone things with a 7-mile run this morning.

Had a recurring issue with one of my knees which has always held me back for the last few years (39 years old).

Started tweaking after 5 miles, now a dull ache but will probably be a bit painful for a week or so.

Anyone else struggled with this?

There's been threads like this before, I suffer pains in my left knee, mainly when going up stairs and sometimes coming down. I believe it's caused by a combination on fixing cars kneeling on cold concrete floors, and a lot of road running in my 30's, I'm now 66.
It's been reasonably OK for a few weeks, while I do 4 mile runs and park runs but week before last I dis two 4 mile runs a park run, all at best speed this year and two walks up the local Beinn. Knee has struggled a bit since.
