Ranitidine alternatives

Well I've nearly exhausted my large supply of Ranitidine only to find I can't buy it anymore, or so it seems?

Any alternatives? This stuff was godsend for me. I only really need it sometimes but it always sorts me out.

My missus ended up buying on eBay from the US. Expensive, but that's what works for her.

Gaviscon is my go too when I run out of Ranitidine.

Best stuff I have used is Nexum. Takes a couple of days to start working but no heartburn at all.

Not cheap mind.

Considering I've been taking them on and off for about 20 years, I'm looking forward to my lovely dose of stomach cancer already!

It is still possible to get it in this country, I picked up a bottle last week for my son. Some pharmacies still have stock left, might he worth calling around.
